About the Open Call

The Barbican Arts Group Trust (BAGT) invites artists to submit their work for the ArtWorks Open 2025 exhibition. This opportunity offers significant recognition and development, including 2 prizes of £1,000 and a solo show, 2 prizes of a 6-week Residency at ArtWorks Project Space, and a £250 A P Fitzpatrick Materials Voucher with a Giclee Print Edition of selected work. Submissions will be selected by renowned artists Tam Joseph and Keith Piper. Tam Joseph is a prolific artist working across painting, illustration, printmaking, and sculpture, known for his unique, surrealistic explorations of contemporary realities. Keith Piper is a distinguished Black British artist, curator, and academic, whose practice is research-driven, spanning painting, photography, installation, digital media, video, and computer-based interactivity. BAGT, established in 1972, provides artist studios and project spaces in London (Atrium Space N1 and ArtWorks Project Space E17) for exhibitions, residencies, workshops, and professional development.
