About the Open Call

The 21st Annual ArtWalk Liberty Station takes place in San Diego's premier arts and culture district. Produced by the team behind Mission Fed ArtWalk, the event is extremely well-marketed, drawing local art collectors and vacationing visitors. The festival includes a mandatory Preview Party and provides artists with aggressive marketing and PR support. Booths are arranged in pods of two or four, ensuring every artist has a corner space. The event supports ArtReach, a non-profit art education program.

What is Offered

Exhibition space in corner-oriented pods, signage, a dedicated artist web page with a link to the artist's website, marketing and PR inclusion, and access to a large audience of over 20,000 attendees.

Requirements

Only fine artists may apply; buy/sell, imported items, and most wearable art (except fine jewelry) are prohibited. Artists must provide a professional display photo and use professional hanging systems (no easels). Participation in the Friday Preview Party is mandatory. Artists must have liability insurance, a San Diego City Business License, and a California Seller's Permit. Tents must be professional white weighted canopies with a flame retardant stamp.

How to Apply

Artists must apply through the ZAPPlication platform. An application is considered incomplete without a professional booth display photo and images of original work.
