ArtPrize
The Artist Seed Grant supports artists in realizing compelling, innovative, and feasible projects for presentation at ArtPrize 2026. Funding can be used for artwork production, framing, transportation, installation, permits, travel, lodging, and other project-specific needs. Applications are reviewed based on artistic merit, originality, project planning, feasibility, and the applicant’s previous work and experience. The grant particularly encourages strong conceptual development combined with practical execution plans and clear visual presentation materials.
Multiple grant opportunities including $2,000 Artist Seed Grants, $25,000 for Featured Public Projects, $3,000 Motu Viget Grants, and additional venue/park-specific funding.
Applicants must be artists or designers aged 18 or older and must register an official entry for ArtPrize 2026 before applying for the grant. Selected artists are required to secure a connected venue through the ArtPrize portal and complete all necessary documentation prior to receiving funding. Applications must include a letter of intent, CV or résumé, project timeline, budget, installation requirements, support needs, and any sketches, mockups, or reference images. All materials must be submitted as a single consolidated document before the deadline.
Applications can be submitted through the individual grant links provided on the ArtPrize website: https://artprize.org/grants. Note that artist registration is required before applying for most grants.
