Mountain Lake Biological Station
Artist-in-Residence applications are accepted from professional artists who are not currently seeking a degree. The program seeks artists whose work connects to science, biology, or the natural world. Applicants must provide work representations, an artist statement, and a residency proposal that includes studio and resource requirements.
Residency at a biological station including potential studio space and access to specific resources and infrastructure as outlined in the proposal.
Must be a professional artist. Currently enrolled students seeking a degree are not eligible. Work must connect to science, biology, or the natural world.
Submit a single PDF (max 5MB) including: 1) Five work representations (images or links), 2) Artist statement (250 words max), 3) Residency proposal (250 words max), and 4) CV (max 2 pages). Submit the file via the online application form.
