Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts
Arrowmont's Artist-in-Residence program provides five early-career artists the time, space and support needed to create new work while participating in a robust community of artists. The program offers networking with international artist-instructors, guaranteed exhibition space, and professional development in instruction and public speaking.
11-month residency, monthly stipend, private climate-controlled studio (12x18), private housing on campus, meals when workshops are in session, and exhibition opportunities.
Applicants should be early-career artists who are self-motivated, embrace community collaboration, and have a body of work reflecting a unique point-of-view. Residents must work a minimum of 10 hours per week for Arrowmont.
