Houston Center for Contemporary Craft
Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC) offers three-to-twelve month residencies to artists working at the intersection of contemporary craft and photography. The program provides artists with 24/7 access to a 200-square-foot studio space, professional development opportunities, and a monthly stipend. Artists are expected to interact with the public and participate in studio hours. The residency includes opportunities for teaching, collaborative works, and culminates in the 'In Residence' annual exhibition.
$1,000 monthly stipend, 24/7 studio access, professional development, teaching opportunities, and inclusion in an annual exhibition.
Media accepted include wood, glass, metal, fiber, clay, and photography. Artists must work in their studios two days per week during public hours, including Saturdays. International applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
