Artist Residency Opportunity: William Allen and his Work - developing a creative response to the Allen Gallery collection

About the Open Call

The residency offers an opportunity for an artist to explore the work, motivations, and collections of William Herbert Allen. The selected artist will produce work for a temporary display at the re-opened Allen Gallery in early 2027 and deliver two community engagement activities. The total fee of £3250 covers the artist fee, materials, and community engagement costs.

What is Offered

Total fee of £3250 inclusive of all expenses, production costs, and community engagement fees.

Requirements

Open to any UK-based artist working in painting/fine art or ceramics. Must hold current Public Liability Insurance.
