About the Open Call

The Artist Residency Grants invite both local and international artists to create new work and engage with the Ras Al Khaimah community. The program offers six-month residencies that culminate in an exhibition and a collaborative public art installation. Funding is capped at 61,000 AED to cover travel, living, and production expenses.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a degree in studio/fine arts or equivalent portfolio, and experience in at least one solo or two group exhibitions/film festivals. Proficiency in English is required. Must be able to conduct monthly workshops.

Applicants must create an account in the Al Qasimi Foundation's grant management portal (https://alqasimi.fluxx.io/) and submit all required documentation including a cover letter, CV, bio, representative portfolio, residency statement of intent, budget, and two recommendation letters.
