About the Open Call

Chokechaka welcomes artists, musicians, curators, scholars, activists, cultural workers, and creatives to a mountain setting in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The program accommodates 1-8 residents at a time for periods ranging from one to over four weeks. The residency emphasizes community engagement, shared experiences, and cultural exchange within the local Peruvian culture and landscape.

What is Offered

Private bedroom with full bathroom, work table, communal kitchen access, shared workspace, complimentary breakfast, and access to a private studio for painters/messy work and an outdoor ceremonial maloca.

Requirements

The residency is open to artists, musicians, curators, and cultural workers whose practice shows receptivity to new environments and can be enriched by immersion in different cultures.
