About the Open Call

Alongside the museum, the Atelier du Verre—a 1,200 m² production and research facility—supports artistic experimentation, training, and residencies. Together, they form a “two-headed” institution combining exhibition and production. In 2026, MusVerre marks a triple anniversary: 50 years of the glass workshop 10 years of the current museum building 40 years since the rediscovery of local pottery heritage The residency offers a research and production-based stay for one artist or a small collective (max. 3 participants), providing access to: A fully equipped professional glass workshop Technical and human support On-site accommodation Financial support for production and living costs The selected artist(s) will develop a project that combines experimentation, making, and public engagement, culminating in a presentation and potential integration into the museum’s collection.

Interior / Exterior This theme invites artists to explore: The relationship between inside and outside, visible and hidden The MusVerre site: architecture, landscape, and collections Glass as a material of dualities: transparent / opaque fluid / solid living / inert Projects may engage with the region’s industrial memory, geological resources, and environmental context, as well as the sensory and symbolic dimensions of glass.
