About the Open Call

The Steel Yard’s residency program assists artists in growing and strengthening their creative industrial art practice. Residents receive an all-access pass to a 10,000 square foot studio, tools, resources, and community. Participants work in a shared studio space alongside a cohort of industrial artists, participating in events, sales, and exhibitions. The program includes access to professional development, teaching opportunities, and cross-departmental critiques. Options range from one-month Micro-Residencies to one-year long-term residencies.
