About the Open Call

Our residencies offer artists the time, space and resources to experiment with their work and try new approaches. Our residencies want to offer artists a place to escape from their daily constraints. We want to provide artists with time, space, and resources to experiment with their work in an inspiring area. The artists will benefit from an intense production time enhanced by the exchange of ideas and experiences with peers. The residencies are particularly aimed at artists seeking for a place of reflection away from their usual environment. We offer two different residencies, one in the city center of Lisbon and one in the Portuguese countryside (about 60km West of Lisbon).
