About the Open Call
The Light Work Artist-in-Residence program offers artists a one-month stay in Syracuse to work on creative projects. The residency provides a $7,500 stipend, a furnished apartment, 24-hour access to state-of-the-art facilities, and staff support. Each resident's work is published in a special edition of Contact Sheet: The Light Work Annual, accompanied by a commissioned essay. The program is open to artists working in photography and image-based media.
