Office for the Arts at Harvard
This is a 1- to 2-year opportunity for ceramic artists to push their art in new directions at a dynamic community ceramics studio at Harvard. Artists-In-Residence build skills in research, career development, technical ability, and collaboration across disciplines. The program provides 24/7 access to a dedicated workspace, materials, firing, and participation in academic collaborations with the Harvard community.
Personal studio space (~240 sq. ft.), 24/7 access, free materials/firing, $1,000/month stipend, paid teaching opportunities, solo exhibition in Gallery 224, and access to Harvard University Library and Museums.
One year commitment, 20 hours/week dedicated to studio practice, eligibility to work in the US (no visa sponsorship), one public workshop, teaching 1-2 courses per semester, participation in studio sales, and donation of one work to the permanent collection.
