The Caumsett Foundation
The Caumsett Foundation's Artist in Residence program provides artists with a workspace in a one-hundred-year-old barn adapted into a studio. The 720-square-foot space includes high walls, vaulted ceilings, and a professional hanging system. This is strictly a work residency (not a living space), offering artists a quiet, historic environment to focus on their practice.
$500-1,000 stipend, 720-square-foot studio space, two 8-foot-long work tables, professional hanging system, studio chairs, lighting, and Wi-Fi.
Artists are responsible for insurance for all work or items brought into the space. No animals are allowed on the park grounds. Application must be submitted by the deadline.
Complete the 2026 Application via the provided Google Forms link and submit the completed application materials to air@caumsettfoundation.org by February 15, 2025.
