About the Open Call

The Carving Studio & Sculpture Center (CSSC) Artist in Residence program brings sculptors from around the world to create new work at our historic campus. Residents become part of our vibrant artist community, sharing in the exchange of concepts, aesthetics and technical expertise. Juried Artist Residencies are funded opportunities for a period of one month, and include tools, materials, housing, and a stipend. Artists may work in a diverse range of materials and techniques; CSSC provides comprehensive facilities for creating works in stone, metal, wood, clay and more.

What is Offered

One-month residency including tools, materials, housing, and a stipend.

Requirements

Artists must provide a resume/CV, a project proposal, a portfolio of 10 images, and preferred residence dates.
