About the Open Call

SlowArt Productions invites artists to submit work for Arte Natura, a group thematic exhibition to be held at the Limner Gallery from May 14 - June 6, 2026. The exhibition focuses on art inspired by the natural world, including landscapes, skyscapes, flowers, vegetables, fruits, and animals. The human figure is permitted only as part of the natural environment. All artistic interpretations, from realist to abstract and conceptual, are welcome. The competition is open to all national and international artists aged 18 or older, working in all media including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, collage, and digital collage. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 72" in height or 96" in width. Sculptural work must fit through a standard 36" wide entry door. Winning artists will be featured in a physical exhibition at Limner Gallery and online on the gallery's website and social media. Works may be offered for sale, with the gallery taking a 35% commission. Artists retain all copyrights to submitted images and artwork. Notification of acceptance or non-acceptance will be made by March 31, 2026, via the results web page at http://www.slowart.com/results/index.htm and email. What is Offered

Artists will be featured in a group exhibition at the Limner Gallery, displayed on the Limner Gallery web site and social media pages. Opportunity for art sales with a 35% gallery commission.

Eligible media include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, collage, digital collage, etc. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 72" tall or 96" wide. Sculptural work must fit through a standard 36" wide entry door. Art must relate to, or gain inspiration from the natural world; human figures are permitted only as part of the natural environment.

How to Apply

Entries are via email with attached individual JPG format image files (approx. 2500 pixels or less on the longest side). Images may also be posted to a dedicated web page or Google Images page, with a link provided. Video artists may post on a web page or YouTube and provide a link. Payment of fees can be made by credit card at the time of entry using PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Pay. Check or money order payment is available by request.
