Roger Tory Peterson Institute
Inspired by Roger Tory Peterson's A Field Guide to Wildflowers, the 2026 exhibition titled 'Beyond Beauty' focuses on the vital ecological, biological, and spiritual roles of flowering plants. The exhibition considers themes of advocacy, species-based artworks, and environmental impact. RTPI is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects that combine art and science to reflect on the relationship between society and nature. Juried by botanical artist Heeyoung Kim, the show aims to prove that art is indispensable for creating a better world.
