Climate change isn’t a distant threat—it’s unfolding before our eyes. Every delay deepens the crisis, but every action, no matter how small, pushes us toward solutions. Each of us has a vital role to play in mitigating its effects. By embracing sustainable habits, reducing our carbon footprints, and advocating for systemic change, our combined efforts forge the path forward. Leveraging modern technology, individual actions can spark global change. Together, we can turn the tide, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come. The Competition invites talented illustrators and video creators to create artworks centred on the theme of climate change. It serves as a platform for sharing innovative ideas and practical solutions to address this global challenge, inspiring the public to take proactive steps in their daily lives to combat climate change. Organised by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), the “Art on Climate” International Illustration Competition aims to raise awareness of effective strategies for combating climate change. Launched in Spain in 2019, the “Art on Climate” competition has grown into a global movement over the past six years. What began as a regional initiative now attracts thousands of artists worldwide, with the 2024 competition receiving over 3,000 artworks from over 2,400 illustrators in more than 100 locations. This year, the Competition continues its mission across the Asia-Pacific region, uniting professional artists and emerging talents to harness creativity in raising climate awareness and driving action. Participants are invited to submit original works on the theme of "climate change", drawing inspiration from topics like empowering communities for climate resilience, establishing planetary boundaries, advancing inclusive capitalism, leveraging technology for sustainability, and uniting for collective action. Artwork Specifications: Must be original works relevant to the theme and submitted individually. Each participant may submit up to three illustrations and three animated videos.
