Art Omi
Art Omi: Architecture invites 10 early- to mid-career architects from around the world for a two-week residency in late May and early June, focusing on experimentation at the intersection of architecture, art, and landscape. Residents share communal living and creative spaces, and are encouraged to engage in cultural exchange. Accommodations, meals, and campus-wide high-speed wi-fi are provided. Each resident receives their own desk space at the Studio Barns, a printer/scanner, a large shared table with cutting mats and tools, and a modest $50 materials allowance. The campus is located in a rural area in Ghent, NY, with studios and living spaces accessible for persons with disabilities. Residents are expected to reside on campus for the duration and participate in nightly dinners. Personal laptops are recommended. International travelers should arrange for visas and currency conversion in advance. No overnight visitors or pets are allowed. The program is committed to nondiscrimination and equal opportunity.

Open to 10 early- to mid-career architects from around the world. Applicants must submit an Architect's Statement (150 words max.), Project Proposal (5 pages max.), Portfolio (10 pages max.), and Resume/CV.
Applications are accepted annually from August 12 to October 15. Required materials include: Architect's Statement (150 words max.), Project Proposal (5 pages max.), Portfolio (10 pages max.), and Resume/CV. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status in December.
