About the Open Call

Art in the Village is a boutique show offering great visibility and enthusiastic buyers in Winnetka, a charming upscale Chicagoland destination. Organized by the North Shore Art League, a 101-year-old community asset, the fair is well-promoted through Chicago media, local publications, and radio stations. The event includes award jurors who select artists for prizes totaling up to $3,000. Accepted media includes painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, jewelry, and mixed media.

What is Offered

Prizes up to $3,000, booth space (single 10'x10' for $495 or limited double for $850), volunteer assistance for set-up, security patrolling on Friday and Saturday evenings, and marketing promotion.

Requirements

Open to artists 18 years or older on a national basis. Work must be original and completed in the last two years. The artist must be present for the entire duration of the show. Exhibitors are responsible for a 9% Illinois sales tax and must provide their own white tent booth and weights.

How to Apply

Artists must apply through the Zapplication platform, submitting up to two applications for jurying. Work must be original, executed by the artist within the last two years. No commercial molds or pre-fabricated pieces are allowed.
