Art Grants 2026/2027

About the Open Call

Since 1993, Fundación Botín has awarded Art Grants each year, aimed at artists of any nationality. Each grant provides funding of 23,000€ and promotes and supports those artists who need resources to carry out a research project or training. The result of this process is displayed in the Itinerarios joint exhibition and in a catalogue. Of the six grants, one will be given in priority to a Spanish artist or resident (at least five years prior) under the age of 30 who has a project to relocate abroad.

Requirements

Open to artists of any nationality. For the priority grant: must be a Spanish artist or resident for at least five years, under the age of 30, with a project to relocate abroad. All documentation must be postmarked by May 8, 2026.

How to Apply

Applicants must register via an online form at www.fundacionbotin.org/en/grants-and-calls-for-applications or www.centrobotin.org/en/grants. After online registration, all applications and documentation must be submitted in print via regular mail to Fundación Botín (Pedrueca 1, 39003 Santander, España). Ensure the mention BECA DE ARTE appears clearly on the envelope.
