About the Open Call

The 'Art and Shamanism' residency is open to artists of all levels interested in retreating to explore their artistic practice within a shamanic context. This second edition focuses on the mask and costume as transformative tools. Participants will be guided by Morena Luciani Russo and Lorenzo Bordonaro in creating their own shamanic masks, studying European and global shamanic traditions, and engaging in ritualistic practices in nature. The program includes workshops, research, sharing circles, a fire ceremony, and a final collective performance. The residency takes place in the Susa Valley, a region known for its strong energetic lines and historical spiritual sites.

Requirements

Artists of any level, including non-professionals. Must participate in a preliminary online meeting. Limited to 15 participants.
