About the Open Call

No Dress Code is an annual informal scratch night at Yorkshire Dance. The event features 3 or 4 works-in-progress, which can include dance performance, film, or installation work. After the performances, the audience provides written feedback. Selected artists receive a fee and available studio space during the week of the event. Works should be 5-15 minutes in duration and have minimal technical requirements.

What is Offered

A fee of £135 and studio space during the week of No Dress Code (if required and available).

Requirements

Applicants must be dance artists or companies based in the North of England and not in full-time education. Work must be a work-in-progress (at least two weeks of R&D), 5-15 minutes long, with minimal technical and set requirements.
