An Open Call for Literature: This Thing Called Love

About the Open Call

We are seeking well-written, unpublished, love-themed prose or poetry (500–4,000 words for prose; up to three poems of 50 lines or less). The anthology aims to explore the complexity of love beyond greeting-card tropes, looking at themes like the anatomy of attraction, modern rituals, endurance, and more. Selected semifinalists will be included in the anthology, and the top piece receives a $25 award and a complimentary copy. US contributors receive a print copy, overseas contributors receive a digital copy. AI-assisted work is not accepted.
