GALLERY ONE VISUAL ARTS CENTER
Gallery One Visual Arts Center announces their ninth national juried exhibition, America 250, celebrating the Semiquincentennial of the USA. We are seeking photographic works that turn the camera lens onto our nation, reflecting on what it means, what it stands for, or what it could be. Juried by Gail Gibson and C. Meier, the exhibition will be held at Gallery One in downtown Ellensburg, WA. A total of $800 in awards will be distributed. Photography is defined here as works created using a digital or film camera, unaltered except for slight lighting, coloration, or contrast enhancements. AI-generated works are not permitted.
$800 in total awards: $300 for best theme, $200 for best traditional photography, $200 for best non-traditional photography, and $100 award of merit.
Artists must be 18+ and reside in the USA at least 50% of the time. Only photographic works are accepted (film/digital). No AI. Works must not promote/slander political parties or depict overtly graphic imagery. Maximum 6 entries.
All entries must be submitted through CallForEntry.org (CaFÉ).
