About the Open Call

This new grant supports amateur and voluntary performing arts groups with activities including performances, weekly rehearsals, training workshops led by professionals, marketing/PR, and capital purchases (technical, production, or musical equipment). Groups must be community-led, not-for-profit, and encourage new membership. The grant is part of the 'Art on Our Doorsteps' goal in the Council’s Arts Development Plan.

What is Offered

Maximum funding of €6,000 per application.

Requirements

Groups must have at least 11 active members, an annual turnover of €6,000 or more, be based in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, be community-led/not-for-profit, have members aged 18+, and possess a formal board/committee and a dedicated bank account. Proposal must be for new activities not already funded by the Council in 2026.
