gruppo nanou
Since 2017, Alphabet et Ultra has been the choreographic and pedagogical project for the construction and deepening of the choreographic language by gruppo nanou company. It is aimed at professional or newly graduated dancers, scholars, teachers, research fellows and PhD students in the performing arts. The aim is to offer an environment of research and experimentation for artists with different backgrounds, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and the deepening of body practices. The project is supported by Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna and developed in collaboration with E Production, Rete Almagià, marte, Ravenna Ballet Studio. The course runs from 15 to 25 July 2025 in Ravenna, at Artificerie Almagià, offering ten days to explore techniques, languages, and visions in contemporary dance and research with choreographers Marco Valerio Amico, Rhuena Bracci, Monica Francia and Francesca Proia. The course is intensive, for 8 hours a day. All participants are insured by Nanou Associazione Culturale ETS. At the end, a public opening is planned to share the work done, in dialogue with the city.
The scholarship includes accommodation in a shared apartment with use of kitchen from 14 (check-in) to 26 July (check-out); a round trip travel reimbursement up to a maximum of €200.00 per person. All participants are insured by Nanou Associazione Culturale ETS. A public opening is planned at the end to share the work done.
Participation is by selection. The course is intensive, for 8 hours a day. Availability is required for the entire course. Applications with partial availability will not be considered. Open to professional or newly graduated dancers, scholars, teachers, research fellows and PhD students in the performing arts.
