Allina Health's Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute
The Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale (AOP), a project of the Allina Health Foundation and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, has been held annually since 1963. It is one of the few juried art shows globally dedicated to artists with disabilities. The event provides a forum for artists to sell their work, promotes diverse talents, and builds an inclusive community. The 2025-2026 show includes both a physical exhibition in Minneapolis and an online gallery, with 100% of sale proceeds returned to the artists. Disciplines include oils, acrylics, watercolor, sculpture, photography, graphics, prints, and mixed media.
Total monetary awards of $4,500, including $500 for Best of Show, $100 for an Encouragement Award, and category-specific prizes (First: $250, Second: $175, Third: $125, Honorable Mention: $100). Artists receive 100% of the sale price of their work.
Open to artists with a disability causing physical or mental impairment that substantially limits major life activities. Works must be original, created within the past three years, and priced for sale (not exceeding $2,000). Specific size and weight restrictions apply for hanging art and sculptures. Hanging work must be framed with wire. AI-generated art and craft kits are not permitted.
Artists must apply through the CaFE website by submitting up to four digital images of their original artwork and a biography of approximately 200 words. Art must be original, created within the last three years, and available for sale.
