Artists' Cooperative Residency & Exhibitions
ACRE has shifted its application timeline to fall 2025 for admission to the 2026 summer residency. This change aims to offer a more equitable and accessible process for artists, providing admitted residents with ample time for decision-making, flexible tuition payment options, early travel planning, and adequate preparation for orientation and community building. The 14-day residency session costs $700, payable in two installments, with alternative payment plans available upon request. ACRE actively fundraises to subsidize the program, as the actual cost per resident is approximately $2,500. All residency staff members are volunteers receiving a small stipend. For summer 2026, COVID protocols require up-to-date vaccinations and a negative test before travel for all visitors. The organization also provides a list of external financial resources for accepted artists to help fund their residency.
14-day residency session, studio space, access to woodshop, screen printing, fibers, sound, AV tech, ceramics studios, programming, exhibition opportunities, scholarships, flexible tuition payment options.
Up-to-date vaccinations and a negative test before traveling are required for all visitors. Applicants should adhere to COVID protocols outlined in the On Site Agreements.
