Artdoc Photography Magazine
Abstract Visions invites photographers working with abstraction as a method of engaging with the world — emotionally, politically, and intuitively. We are interested in work that communicates through atmosphere, rhythm, colour, and form. Abstract Visions welcomes photographic projects that build their meaning in sequences, contrast, and repetition. Colour may function as emotional structure. Form may carry tension. In an unpredictable world, abstraction can become a way of creating a self-contained visual world where complexity is allowed to exist without explanation.
Selected artists will participate in a curated online group exhibition, be featured on the magazine's submission page, gain publication in the online digital magazine, and may receive an exclusive interview opportunity.
Photographers must submit work that uses abstraction to engage with the world. Projects should demonstrate complexity through sequences, contrast, and repetition. Submitted work must adhere to ethical and aesthetic parameters; offensive images or certain types of explicit nudity may be rejected. Artists retain copyrights but grant publication permission.
To submit your work, you must become a member of Artdoc Photography Magazine via their membership page. Once registered and logged in, the submission form becomes accessible on the open call page.
