About the Open Call

Gallery Ring announces an online contest and exhibition dedicated to abstract works of art. Eligible media includes two-dimensional work done by hand (paintings, drawings), photography, digital, mixed-media, print work, and collage. Sculpture, crafts, jewellery, fabric art, video, sound, and majority AI-generated work are ineligible. Artists must be 18 or older and able to communicate in English or Spanish.

What is Offered

Many awards are available including Best In Show, Golden Trio Award, Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and Crystal Awards. Winners receive digital certificates, dedicated award pages, and potential features on the Gallery Ring YouTube channel and 3D Rotation Gallery.

Requirements

Artists must be 18+, must be original works, no previously shown work on the site, no political or offensive art, must follow specific file naming and sizing requirements.
