Monson Arts
The residency offers 2–4 week sessions throughout the year, during which participants receive a private studio, shared housing, all meals, and a stipend. The program emphasizes process over production, allowing artists to develop new work, research ideas, or deepen ongoing projects. Located at the edge of Maine’s North Woods, the residency fosters both solitude and community, bringing together visual artists and writers across disciplines such as painting, sculpture, photography, film, and interdisciplinary practices.
