Biennale Chianciano
The 9th edition of the Chianciano Biennale is an open artistic call for works across various disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, and video art. The exhibition takes place at the Chianciano Art Museum and medieval city galleries. Artists of all career stages and nations are invited to apply. Selected artists will be featured in a hardcopy A4 catalogue and on the official website. The selection process is managed by the Chianciano Art Museum committee, and works will be judged individually. There are no geographical or thematic limitations.
Prizes include €2,500 for best work, €1,000 for specific category awards (Painting, Sculpture/Installation, Paper, Digital/Photo), automatic selection for the London Art Biennale 2027 for ten artists, and professional critiques for five artists. No commission is taken on sales.
Open to artists at any stage of their career from any nation. No minimum age. Works can be from any year and previously exhibited. Size limit of 250cm per side (unless pre-approved). All 2D works must be ready to hang if selected.
