9th Annual Gift of Art Exhibition

About the Open Call

The Lewisville Grand Theater is hosting its ninth annual Gift of Art, a holiday art sale exhibition running from Dec. 6 – Dec. 21, 2025. This exhibition aims to encourage local art purchasing, and while it coincides with the holidays, holiday-themed works are not required. The exhibition is open to all fine art and fine craft artists. Submissions will be selected based on quality, price, and available gallery space. Artists may submit up to three artworks or items. All media will be considered. Accepted pieces may be housed in a non-locking case.

What is Offered

An exhibition opportunity culminating in an art sale. The Lewisville Grand Theater will collect a 10% gallery commission on all sales. Event promotion will include social media postings, Art Center website and newsletter features, and press releases/event listings in local newspapers.

Requirements

This opportunity is open to all fine art and fine craft artists; residency in Lewisville is not required, nor is affiliation with an art group. Entries must be the complete original work of the submitting artist (no kits or commercially designed works). No food items will be accepted. Two-dimensional artworks have a size limit of 16 x 20 inches and must have wire installed for hanging. Three-dimensional art has a size limit of 16 inches tall and must be fully stable. Price point for artworks should be $300 and under.

How to Apply

Artists can apply by filling out the online application form. A Google account is required to submit the form. Application questions are also available in a separate document for reference. Submissions, along with photos, can also be sent to Denise Helbing, Arts Center Manager, at 100 N. Charles Street Lewisville, TX 75057. The deadline for application is Nov. 16, 2025, 11:59 p.m.
