TERAVARNA is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated '8th WATER International Juried Art Competition.' Artists worldwide are cordially invited to submit their finest artworks, exploring the captivating theme of water, to be considered for inclusion in this prestigious exhibition. This remarkable event welcomes various art styles, encompassing both 2D and 3D creations, such as watercolor painting portraits, sculptures, digital art, printmaking, fiber art, photography, graphic design, mixed media compositions, and experimental and installation works. The essence of water serves as the driving force behind this contest, urging artists to express their unique interpretations. By participating, artists have the opportunity to showcase their talent and immerse viewers in the profound beauty and significance of water. This celebration of water's vital role in life invites artists from all corners of the globe to seize this chance to make a meaningful impact with their creative prowess. The contest revolves around the theme of water, emphasizing its vital role in our lives. Artists are encouraged to represent water visually in various forms and have the freedom to interpret the theme in their own unique ways. Both representational and abstract artworks related to water in any medium will be considered.

What is Offered

Up to $3,500 in cash prizes will be given out to winning artists. The grant money will be unrestricted and may be used in any manner by the recipient artist. Depending on the number and quality of artworks submitted, prizes include First Prize ($300-$500), Runner-Up ($150-$350), Merit Prize ($75-$250), Talent Prize ($25-$150), Honorable Mention Award, and Finalist Award. Winners will also receive professionally designed Certificates of Recognition. Winning artworks will be part of an exhibition starting September 21, 2025.

Requirements

You must be 18 years or older to participate. Image submission guidelines: Only JPEG or JPG files are accepted, less than 2MB preferred (up to 5MB maximum). Images should be cleanly cropped, showing only the artwork, with no borders, frames, backgrounds, or unnecessary elements. Ensure your image is in sharp focus, not blurry, and the artwork is clearly visible from a front-facing view.

How to Apply

STEP 1: Choose the number of artworks you'd like to submit. STEP 2: Click on the number of artworks and proceed to make a payment via PayPal or credit card. STEP 3: After successful payment, you'll be redirected to a page where you can upload your images and other details. For any issues with image submissions, email info@teravarna.com.
