Unplugged Dance
Unplugged Dance 2026, titled 'Listening to a Permanent Culture of Dance', explores movement as a regenerative, living practice. The program includes workshops on eco-somatic perspectives, site-specific practices in natural environments, and process-oriented formats. Facilitators include Mariela Nestora, Kate Sagovsky, Vasiliki Tsagkari, Reversed Dances, Alessio Castellacci, and Bodycartography. The structure involves introductory landing weeks, experiential workshops Monday-Friday, heart circles, and collective care of the off-grid living space.
The participation fee is €3600, which covers 180 hours of workshops, shared meals, and shared living arrangements. 7 full scholarships are available for emerging dance professionals from Greece. Payment plans and sliding scale options are also available.
Open to adults who wish to deepen their relationship to movement. Previous dance experience is supportive but not mandatory; commitment to the full 7-week process and openness to community living are essential.
To apply, candidates must fill out the registration form on the Unplugged Dance website. Following submission, a deposit of 1/3 of the total amount must be made within 48 hours to secure a place.
