57th Street Art Fair
Considered the oldest juried art fair in the Midwest, the 57th Street Art Fair is held annually in Chicago adjacent to the University of Chicago campus. The fair strictly prohibits AI-generated, mass-produced, or reproduction work, requiring all pieces to be original and handcrafted by the exhibiting artist. The jury process involves seven jurors scoring applications on a scale of 1-5.
Exhibition space, 100% retention of sales revenue, and eligibility for up to three Newcomer Awards.
Artwork must be original and produced entirely by the artist; no AI, reproductions, or mass-produced items. Photography and digital art must be signed, numbered, and produced in limited editions. Collective/group work and agents are not permitted.
