About the Open Call

Gallery Ring announces an online contest and exhibition which anticipates and celebrates the arrival of Spring. Artwork does not have to be Spring-themed. One artwork will be selected and revealed every day from March 1st until March 20th 2026, ending in a group show of 20 artworks. The jury looks for originality, mastery of medium, and strong design. Winners receive digital certificates and pages, and are featured in a Winners Video on Gallery Ring’s YouTube channel.

What is Offered

All 20 selected artists receive a digital Award Certificate. Top 4 winners receive a special digital Award Page. All 10 winners featured in a YouTube Winners Video and promoted on Instagram.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years or older, emerging or established, and able to communicate in English or Spanish. Eligible media includes 2D work done by hand (paintings, drawings), photography, digital, mixed-media, print work, and collage. Sculpture, crafts, jewelry, fabric art, video, sound, and AI-generated work are ineligible.

How to Apply

Artists must complete the online submission form on the Gallery Ring website, upload 1-3 images (max 2MB each, jpg format, labeled as Last name-Title of Art), and proceed with the $20 US payment via PayPal.
