About the Open Call
The 2nd Annual Symposium, Existing Otherwise, invites contributions that explore ways of living and relating that exceed normative structures. The event welcomes non-traditional academic formats such as unpanels, fugitive teach-ins, peripatetic walks, and film submissions. The symposium emphasizes intersectional conditions and queer hope, focusing on lived and embodied practices.
What is Offered
Presenting opportunities at the symposium; 2x 150 GBP payments for independent contributors; 4x 50 GBP travel bursaries for students/independent contributors.
Requirements
Film submissions must be up to 20 minutes, H.264 format. Proposals for non-traditional session formats are encouraged.
