About the Open Call

This call invites artists to submit 2D and 3D artwork, photography, and original digital art featuring equines. All styles from realism to abstraction are welcome. The exhibition focuses on animal-centric art, though humans and other animals can be included. Only award recipients and potentially a 'Selected Works' group will be featured in the online exhibition.

What is Offered

Cash awards including $350 for Best in Show, $150 for Overall Runner Up, and $50 for Artivism Award, plus inclusion in a virtual exhibition and social media promotion.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 or older. Artwork must be original (no AI) and not previously shown on wildheartgallery.com. Theme must focus on equine species. Maximum of 2 submissions per artist. Files must be JPG, GIF, or PNG under 5MB.
