MasterWorks of New Mexico
MasterWorks of New Mexico is a collaborative exhibition organized by Bardean LLC, the New Mexico Watercolor Society, the Pastel Society of New Mexico, and the Rio Grande Art Association. The show highlights visual art excellence across categories including Oil/Acrylic, Pastel, Watermedia, and Miniature Fine Art (including 3D Sculpture). The event includes an opening reception, awards presentation, and workshops. All work must be for sale, with a 25% donation for Standard works and 40% commission for Miniatures going to the sponsoring societies.
Over $9,000 in cash and prizes, including Best of Show, category awards, and specialty awards like the Wilson Hurley Enchantment Award.
Open to living artists over 18 who are residents of New Mexico. Works must be original, completed within the last two years, and not previously shown in MasterWorks. All items must be for sale. Specific framing and size requirements apply (Standard paintings must be at least 80 sq inches; Miniatures have strict 1/6th scale guidelines).
Standard Fine Art entries must be submitted through the respective sponsoring society's website (NMWS, PSNM, or RGAA) with digital images. Miniature Fine Art entries require online registration on the MasterWorks website, with physical artwork shipped or hand-delivered for jurying.
