About the Open Call

Selected films will be screened during the EXiS 2026 festival in Seoul and compete for awards including Best EXiS Award, Korean EXiS Award, Jungwoon Award, and Jury Special Mention. All selected films receive screening fees: KRW 70,000 for short films and KRW 180,000 for feature-length films, paid via PayPal.

Requirements

Films must be completed between 2024 and 2026. There is no premiere requirement, but filmmakers must state the premiere status when applying. Films not in English must include English subtitles, and applicants must ensure that all copyright permissions for included materials are secured.

How to Apply

Applicants must complete the online entry form on the EXiS website and submit a working online screener link that remains active until the shortlist announcement. Selected films must later provide screening copies and publicity materials.
