2027 Typography Competition

About the Open Call

Communication Arts honors excellence in typographic projects published or produced between September 2025 and September 2026. The competition is juried by design professionals, with winners receiving an Award of Excellence and global exposure via the Typography Annual, in print and digital editions, and on commarts.com.

What is Offered

Winning entries will be featured in the Typography Annual (print and digital editions) and on commarts.com, and will receive a personalized Award of Excellence and award certificates.

Requirements

Any typographic project first published or produced from September 2025 through September 2026 is eligible. AI text-to-image generated submissions are not accepted.

How to Apply

Entries must be registered and submitted through the Communication Arts online competition system at https://commarts.secure-platform.com/a. Digital files must follow specified formats (JPG/JPEG for images, MOV/MP4 for video, PDF for documents).
