The Nicholson Project
About the Open Call
The Nicholson Project provides artists with time, space, and support to further their practice. In-House Residency includes a $5,000 stipend and on-site housing/studio space. Local Artist Studio Residency (LASR) includes a $2,000 stipend and shared studio space for DC/DMV region artists. Both offer professional documentation, staff support, and exhibition opportunities.
What is Offered
In-House: $5,000 stipend, private apartment and studio, professional documentation. LASR: $2,000 stipend, shared studio space, exhibition stipend of $1,000.
Requirements
Artists must be local, national, or international (In-House) or from DC/DMV region (LASR). Includes submission of portfolio, project concept, and ability to commit to studio time.
