Colloquia
Colloquia invites artists at all career stages to submit work for their ongoing exhibition program in Woodstock, featuring a 1,000 square foot professional gallery. Additionally, the Colloquia Futures program provides an annual platform for young artists (typically 18-25) to transition from student or self-directed work to professional public exhibition. The program includes curatorial dialogue, installation guidance, marketing, and mentorship. For the general call, commission is on a sliding scale, while for the Futures program, the gallery takes no commission on sales.
Professional exhibition space, marketing and visibility, coaching and mentorship, and favorable commission terms (no commission for Futures artists).
Selection is based on clarity of intent, cohesion of work, commitment to practice, and readiness for public exhibition. Colloquia Futures is specifically targeted at early-career artists aged 18-25 with limited solo exhibition history.
Submit a brief artist statement, CV, portfolio images or digital files, and any specific exhibition concepts to info@colloquia.art. General applicants should also include a description of why Colloquia is the right place for their work.
