Maude Kerns Art Center
The Maude Kerns Art Center, founded in 1950, is a non-profit community art center for the visual arts in Eugene, Oregon. For its 2027 and 2028 seasons, the center is looking for local, regional, and national artists working in various mediums. The facility includes the Main Gallery (Henry Korn and Stage Galleries) and the Maude I. Kerns Salon Gallery. Jurors will score applications based on originality, artistic merit, craftsmanship, and potential for community engagement.
Selected artists receive exhibition space in the 2027 or 2028 season, marketing support, and a 60% commission on any artwork sold during or facilitated by the exhibition.
Open to local, regional, and national artists. Work must be 2D, 3D, or installation-based and ready for installation. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and insurance during transport. Selected artists must sign an exhibit contract.
Applications must be submitted via the CaFÉ platform. Applicants must provide 10-20 images (with the option to substitute one for an audio or video file), an artist resume, and an artist statement. Group submissions must designate a coordinator and provide a theme statement alongside individual member resumes.
