SWELL Sculpture Festival 2026 invites artists from Australia and beyond to submit proposals for large-scale sculptures. The festival features a 10-day program including artist talks, workshops, and community events. Selected works will be displayed at Currumbin Beach from September 11th to 20th, 2026. Artists must provide comprehensive supporting documentation including concept drawings to scale, information on foundations/footings, machinery requirements, a detailed installation method statement, and an artwork statement. A 20% commission is taken on all sculpture sales.
Artists must submit an online application via the Jotform link. The application requires contact details, a one-page CV, a brief biography in the third person, sculpture details (dimensions, weight, materials), concept drawings, an installation method statement, and payment of the application fee.
