About the Open Call

The 2026 Spring/Summer Ceramics Residency spans approximately 7 weeks from May 30th to July 18th, 2026. Up to two participants will be selected. Selected residents will have 24-hour access to the ESSA ceramics studio and kiln house, including all tools and equipment. The program concludes with a closing reception.

What is Offered

$500 honorarium, on-campus lodging, 24-hour studio access, kiln house access, and an optional opportunity to sell work at a closing reception.

Requirements

Open to practicing ceramics artists seeking focused time to refine their skills or explore new avenues.
