2026 Open Call for Visual Arts and Music Residency

About the Open Call

Pioneer Works is deeply committed to providing emerging artists, musicians, and technologists with a space to work, tools to create, and a platform to exchange ideas. Residencies are selected through an open call for Visual Arts and Music, welcoming residents who work outside existing models and “norms” of their field. The program shifts to reflect the interests of each new cohort, from public education offerings to Second Sundays, a monthly forum of artistic experimentation. All residents completing the program join an alumni network and are tapped for future opportunities like teaching, partnerships, and other public programs. Applications for the 2026 Open Call for Visual Arts and Music Residency will be available from Monday, August 4 at 10:00 AM ET to Sunday, August 31 at 11:59 PM ET.
